Brow Lift Method
Brow Lift Method
Brow Lift can be performed by these 4 methods:
- Surgical Brow Lift:
This method provides the most lifting effect amongst all the available method. It is a procedure that requires excessive skin which results the brow to drooped, to be excised under local anesthetic. The procedure is relatively painless, however, there is a downtime of 1-2 weeks for the wound to heal with a faint scar over the brow.
- Non-surgical brow lift with Silhouette Soft/Lift:
This method uses threads to reinforce the skin over the brow region. It works by providing some mechanical lift and also stimulating collagen which results in strengthening of the skin, subsequently lifting the brow. The procedure is painless, providing fast results with no downtime. The results may last up to 2 years for each procedure.
- Non-surgical brow lift with ThermiRF:
This method adopts the latest technology in RF. It uses a probe to deliver RF energy directly to the layer right under the skin, reinforcing the skin with new collagen and contracting pre-existing collagen. This will not only result in a brow lift, but also help to reduce fine lines.
- Brow lift with fillers:
Occasionally, due to the loss of volume from soft tissue degeneration and bony resorption, the brow droops down. In this case, a simple volumisation with fillers will do the trick. In many cases, a combination of a, b or c with fillers will be required, for the best natural looking results.
How Do We Treat This?
Well, a thorough understanding as to what is the cause of sagging is of utmost importance. In different people, it varies greatly as to the main contributing factors. In some, it may be mainly skin laxity, and in others, it would be volume loss. Many times, it is due to both, but at varying degrees. The understanding of why the skin sags for different individuals and its diagnosis is complex as much as it is important. Thus, the treatment would have to be tailored for each and every individual specific to his/her condition.
Treatment usually encompasses various products and treatment modalities such as BOTOX, Fillers, Lasers, Thread Lifts, RF, and Ultrasound.
