How does freckles occurs?
Freckles occur due to overproduction of melanin by the melanin producing cells, melanocytes. Exposure to sunlight activated the melanocytes to produce more melanin as a photo-protective mechanism. Freckles can be easily treated using the Medlite C6 laser to produce specific wavelength and effectively break down the pigment.

Post laser treatment, there will be redness seen on treated area but it will resolve after few hours.
Will freckles recur after laser treatment?
No. It will not recur. However, new freckles can be formed if there is no proper sun protection.
